Cape. No 7

Everyone MUST watch this movie: it's called Cape No. 7.
It's a Chinese movie that's stirring the pot in Taiwan now! :]

There's a mixture of languages in this movie - Japanese, Mandarin, and Hokkein. I think that's pretty cool! And if you understand Hokkein, you'll understand the humor! So be prepared to Roll-On-Foor-Laughing-My-Ass-Out 247! The movie might seem insipid and void of a storyline at first, (or even confusing) so you'll have the urge to switch it off (like i did, three times actually haha) but just keep watching! It's the ending; the ending will move you to tears.

It's a touching love story, but it's not a typical one. So dw, you'll cut down on the "omg it's so cheeeeeeeeeesy" whines. Like i said, there's comic relief everywhere, so expect to be laughing your ass off. Just trust the movie. The beginning might seem like a bunch of hokum, so you'll constantly be stuck into figuring out who's related to who, or how something's related to another. Then again, you'd think the ending is predictable, but you'd be surprised!

OH and you gotta love the songs.
